The Indira Gandhi National Open University has set up an online portal for re registration of students in next year/semester of their respective programme. This university has open up this online re-registration portal for both Indian and International students of the University.

Right now, the students can apply for July 2022 re-registration at this online portal right now. IGNOU re registration fee for next semester / year has to be made online as well.

Now, Last date of IGNOU re registration is 14th July 2022.

Students who have taken admission in undergraduate/postgraduate programmes of two-three year duration have to fill up re-registration form for next year/semester.

Students often get confused between the terms registration and re-registration. Both the terms are very simple. When students take admission in first semester or year, then it is known as registration whereas when he/she applies for next semester or year, then it is known as re-registration.

How to apply for IGNOU Re registration July 2022?

We have provided below the simple steps to apply for July 2022 re-registration: 

Step 1:  To apply for re-registration, students should register them on the online portal at following link: https://onlinerr.ignou.ac.in/

Step 2: After opening above link, read out all the instructions carefully on the official page. Then click on “Proceed for re-registration” button to proceed further

Step 3: If the student is applying for re-registration first time, then he/she requires to click on “New Registration’ button to proceed.

Step 4: Select programme, Enter the name, Enrollment Number and click on submit button to proceed further.

Step 5: Student should enter Username, password, correct mobile number and e-mail ID as the university will send the confirmation and other important updates on the specified email and mobile number.

Step 6: Already registered student can use their Username and Password to log in. If any student forgot their Username/Password and not getting OTP or any other difficulty, they are requested to approach their Regional Centre for re-setting of your account/updating email ID or mobile number.

Step 7: Fill up course details for next semester/ year and pay fees online by Credit card, Debit card or Netbanking.

As soon as the students complete their Ignou online re registration process by filling up the application form and paying the fee, they will receive confirmation from the university by email and also via SMS as well. It’s the confirmation of acceptance of application form.

Important Instruction to fill up IGNOU Re-Registration form

Students should choose their courses carefully while filling up re-registration form. It is better to read the Programme Guide or ignou prospectus for details of course on offer in next semester / year.

If wrong course is filled by the student, it could be changed at regional centre but it may result in loss of time available to student to complete the studies. IGNOU Re-Registration July 2022.
