JEECUP Counselling 2020: UP Polytechnic Counselling Registration, Dates, Seat Allotment, Document Verification & Procedure

JEECUP Counselling 2020 | Joint Entrance Exam Council of Uttar Pradesh will organize the online JEECUP Counselling 2020. This counselling is for those who qualify for the offline entrance exam. The eligible candidates will be invited to take part in the UP Polytechnic Counselling tentatively in the month of June 2020. UP JEECUP 2020 Counselling is conducted to fill the Polytechnic seats in various private and government colleges of UP. The concerned authority will conduct 3 rounds of the process. The counselling of JEECUP 2020 includes a number of steps and they are online registration and payment of counselling fee, choice filling and locking, seat allotment, deposition of security fee, reporting at the allotted institute and document verification. Procedure of UP Polytechnic Counselling 2020

The complete procedure of JEECUP Polytechnic Counselling 2020 is prescribed below. The procedure consists of various steps. Candidates have to follow each and every single step strictly. The counselling is the last round of the admission process which assures applicants with a seat. Check UP JEECUP 2020 Counselling procedure from below:

  1. Online Registration and Payment of Counselling Fee

All the qualified applicants will be called to attend the JEECUP Counselling 2020. The first and foremost step that these students need to do is to register themselves online. For registering, they have to log in to the official website using their application number and password. While doing this online registration, applicants also have to pay the counselling fee of Rs. 250. Payment can be made via Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card or Challan.

  1. Choice Filling

The successfully registered candidates will now be able to fill the choice of courses and colleges. The courses and colleges will be displayed on the screen according to the category of an individual. Candidates can select the choices as per their preference. The authority advises them to fill the maximum number of choices. However, aspirants can fill any number of choices in order of priority.

  1. Locking of Filled Choices

Once the choices will be filled by the students, he or she needs to lock them. Locking of choice should be done before the last date. In case an individual fails to lock the choices then the concerned authority will automatically lock the previously filled choices. Applicants are requested to take a printout of the locked choices. No modification will be allowed after the choices will be locked finally.

  1. Allotment of Seat

Seats will be allotted to applicants after every round of UPJEE 2020 Counselling. The allotment of seat will chiefly depend upon the state open rank, choice filling and reservation of seats. Candidates need to visit the official website i.e jeecup.nic.in so as to check the status of allotment.

  1. Deposition of Security Fee

In this step, students have to make the payment of Rs. 3000 as the security fee. This fee has to be paid by those who will be allotted a seat. As soon as the candidate pays this fee there will be two options:

  • Float: This option is for accepting the allotted seat. Those who are satisfied with the seat allotment can choose this option and can further download the Seat Allotment Letter.
  • Freeze: Applicants who are not satisfied with the allotted seat can choose this option. By clicking on this option, they can upgrade and participate in the other rounds of JEECUP Counselling 2020
  1. Reporting at the Allotted Institute for Document Verification

Aspirants who are allotted with a seat need to report at the allotted institute within the given date and time. At the time of reporting, they need to produce all the original documents for verification. In case any applicant fails to report for document verification then he or she will face disqualification.

While reporting, candidates have to carry several documents along with them for verification purpose. The list comprises of the following documents:

  • Seat Allotment Letter
  • Admit Card
  • Rank Card
  • Class 10th Marksheet and Passing Certificate
  • Class 12th Marksheet and Passing Certificate
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Characer Certificate
  • Migration Certificate
  • Reservation Certificate (If Applicable)
  • Valid ID proof (Ration card, Aadhar card, etc.)
  • Two Photographs
  • Two sets of printouts of all the above documents.

JEECUP Reservation Criteria 2020

There will be some seats reserved for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the rules of The Government. The reservation criteria of UP Polytechnic are shown in the tables below for Vertical and Horizontal Reservations.
