JEECUP 2020: Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education (UPBTE) organizes Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) 2020 exam every year. The exam is conducted with an aim to offer admission to candidates in many programmes like Polytechnic Diploma, PG Diploma, and Post Diploma. Moreover, JEECUP 2020 is also known as UPJEE 2020. The full form of UPJEE is Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Exam. It is a state level exam. Various private and government institutions of Uttar Pradesh accepts the score of JEECUP Polytechnic 2020. The concerned authority will conduct the exam in the third week of April 2020 tentatively. All the aspiring students who wish to take the entrance exam can, therefore, apply by filling an application form. JEECUP Exam Date 2020

The concerned authority has not yet released the official notification regarding the exam dates. However, you can refer to the tentative dates as given below. These dates are just for general reference so that aspirants can prepare themselves before happening of a particular event. In addition, through these dates, they will come to know about the approximate JEECUP 2020 exam date. As a result, this will eventually help them to start their preparation in advance.

JEECUP Eligibility Criteria 2020

Before proceeding to fill the application form, applicants should check the eligibility criteria of JEECUP Polytechnic. After checking, they must ensure whether they possess each of the requirements or not. If they do then they are eligible to apply for the exam else they are considered non-eligible. Although the eligibility criteria differ for each of the programmes.  Check the JEECUP Eligibility Criteria 2020 as mentioned below:

  • Candidates should have cleared class 11th and 12th or equivalent exam from recognized board or university.
  • Aspirants should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects in 12th standard.
  • The applying candidates should have a domicile of Uttar Pradesh.

The eligibility criteria for different Programmes

JEECUP Application Form 2020

  • Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education will release the Polytechnic Form in the second week of December 2020.
  • The application form will be available via online mode only
  • However, there will no print applications of UP JEECUP.
  • Further, candidates need to fill the form with personal, educational and communication details. These details should be correctly filled otherwise it will result in rejection of an application.
  • After filling the above details, aspirants have to upload scanned images of their photograph and signature. These images must be in the format prescribed by the exam conducting body.
  • Students need to make the payment of application fee once the JEECUP Online Application Form 2020 will be completely filled.
  • General and OBC category aspirants have to pay Rs. 300 while SC/St category aspirants have to pay Rs. 200 as an application fee.
  • Payment can be made via online mode or through SBI E-Challan method.
  • Finally, after this payment, submit the application form.
  • The last date to submit the form will be in the second week of February 2020 tentatively.
  • Take a printout of the submitted application form for the purpose of future admission formalities.

JEECUP Admit Card 2020

UPBTE Authority is responsible for issuing the JEECUP Admit Card 2020. Applicants can avail the admit card or hall ticket from the official portal. The document will be available in the first week of April 2020. It is mandatory for students to download the admit card because it is an important document. Furthermore, it contains all the details of an appearing student and entrance exam. Additionally, the examiner use the document to verify the identity of the student on the day of an exam. Thus, applicants are advised to carry their UP JEECUP admit card along with themselves when appearing for the entrance exam.

JEECUP Exam Pattern 2020

  • Mode of Examination –  It is a pen and paper-based test. i.e the exam will be conducted via offline mode
  • Duration – Complete the exam in a duration of 3 hours.
  • Shifts – The exam will be held in 2 shifts. The first shift will be form 9:00 am to 12:00 noon while the second shift will start from 2:30 pm till 5:30 pm
  • Type of Questions – There will be Multiple Choice Questions in the entrance exam.
  • Number of Questions – The question paper will have a total of 120 questions
  • Sections – There will be 3 sections in the exam and they are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
  • Medium – The question paper will be in English as well as Hindi medium.

JEECUP Syllabus 2020

It is essential for desiring applicants to be familiar with the JEECUP Syllabus 2020. The syllabus contains all the important topics from which questions will be asked in the exam. JEECUP Cutoff 2020

The concerned authority will also release the cutoff of UPJEE 2020. The cutoff is the least marks required by an individual to qualify the exam and further to be eligible for admission. JEECUP Counselling 2020

Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education (UPBTE) will organize JEECUP Counselling 2020 specifically for those who qualify the exam. Hence, aspirants are called to take part in the counselling round depending upon their performance in an entrance exam. The counselling will probably begin in the month of June 2020. During this counselling, students have to fill the choice of programmes and colleges as per their preference. This choice filling has to be done in online mode. The exam conducting body will then allot seats to deserving candidates on the basis of the choice filling, merit, and reservation of seat. Once the seat will be allotted, candidates have to be present in person for document verification.
