J&K 31,000 COVID 19 CASES 26,236 Active Cases & 49 Deaths Till January 2022 Check Complete Details
Jammu and Kashmir has recorded a steep increase of 3200 percent in Covid19 cases across the Union Territory in the last three weeks, with the total number of cases reported this month reaching over 31000 till now.
The total number of Covid19 positive cases reported on January 3 were 178, while on January 19 the total number of daily positive cases increased to 5818, which is the highest single day increase since the pandemic hit J&K in March 2020. In January, J&K has reported 49 deaths till now.

Among those tested positive this month are over 1000 health workers including doctors, paramedical staff and students, who asked to assist in different hospitals to manage the surge.
According to the official data, the UT has 26236 active positive cases as on January 19, which include 9336 cases in Jammu division and 16900 cases in Kashmir division. The J&K administration claims that 83019 Covid19 tests were conducted and 41,266 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
